You need JavaScript enabled to view it CMA Certification Student Night at SDSU ByLaws FBI Presents: Financial Statement Fraud and Student Night March 14 This meeting was very well attended with over 90 attendees, in which over half were students. The FBI gave a very detailed description of the high profile Peregrine Systems case and the revenue recognition accounting practices that were used, or should we say abused. One of the underlying themes was how "bad things happen to good people", how ethical choices truly affect you and your career. This was a great learning experience for the students and great reminders for the rest of us who are faced with these decisions everyday.
